BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing a Title V air permit in a manufacturing facility - RCRA,TRI, stormwater permit compliance, wastewater permit compliance experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Flexibility to travel 25%-35% of the time to regional sites. - Ability to multi-task and balance priorities. - Demonstrated ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness. - Dedicated and committed EHS leadership and presence. Coordinate timely renewal applications - Provide technical support and guidance to facility management - Champion regulatory compliance and direct implementation of best practices - Ensure proper management and disposal of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste - Prepare and submit all required federal, state and local environmental permits and reports - Prepare and maintain environmental policies for the manufacturing facility - Ensure that discharges and releases into the air, water and landfills meet all regulations, codes and permit requirements - Serve as primary contact and liaison for environment agencies - Oversee environmental projects and maintain environmental file for inspections and audits - Review and approve new chemicals entering facilities - Maintain electronic environmental sustainability data in FBHS’ environmental health and safety database - Develop relevant environmental training and ensure facility required environmental training is conducted via train-the-trainer sessions - Lead the implementation of the company’s strategic environmental plans - Participate in and/or lead compliance audits of sites - Prepare emissions estimates and projections - Monitor facility waste streams and their associated cost – implement corrective action as needed - Maintains knowledge of industry trends, safety legislation and ensures compliance - Monitor performance metrics for each business unit and implement corrective action if required   Fortune Brands Doors & Security (Master Lock/Therma-Tru Doors) is an equal opportunity employer.
