Overview

Job Summary:

 

The Maintenance/Storeroom Coordinator issues parts & supplies to Maintenance/Production associates while maintaining accurate records/inventories, request parts and supplies when inventory levels are low.  Additionally, the position will maintain the plant Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintenance records and assist with maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

 

  • Facilitate company strategies for MRO management.
  • Perform physical inventory of parts & supplies.
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts and submit accurate reports.
  • Issue parts & supplies to Maintenance and production personnel.
  • Conduct entry in CMMS of stock disbursements.
  • Conduct dispatching of repair & returns.
  • Conduct restocking of bins for goods receipts (parts & supplies).
  • Responsible for improving the part descriptions on existing parts.
  • Comply with all Fiberon policies and procedures.
  • Participate on assigned teams. Support team decisions.
  • Perform area housekeeping duties.
  • Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Obtain RMA numbers from suppliers as needed.
  • Prepare items for shipment and or communicate with suppliers as required.
  • Maintain accurate equipment data in CMMS.
  • Enter work order data into CMMS.
  • Assist Maintenance Manager in the routine maintenance and upkeep of the CMMS.
  • Provide clerical support as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A minimum 6 months experience working in a Storeroom or Tool Crib.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, components and parts in order to best support the facility maintenance team.
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism, leadership, patience, diplomacy, high ethical standards, and a positive cooperative attitude.
  • Must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Have the ability to work with little or no direction at times with high attention to detail
  • Must have outstanding verbal and written skills
  • Must exhibit a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Prior work experience with CMMS (MP2 Preferred), Office 2010, and AS400 required.

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • Extensive computer experience and ability to create and maintain inventory systems

  • Have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during a 8 hour shift.
  • Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during an 8-hour shift.
  • Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for an 8-hour shift.
  • Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for an 8-hour shift.
  • Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for an 8-hour shift.
  • Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant for an 8-hour shift.
