    As a Market Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to grow top line sales within the South Atlantic sales district targeting the Atlanta and North Georgia market. You’ll be responsible for cultivating relationships with key and prospective customer accounts to drive future sales growth. This position will help prepare you to be a Territory Manager. Ideally the individual will live in the greater Atlanta area, Chattanooga, TN or Greenville, SC area.

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with field sales team on TT products, programs, and potential service related issues and work directly with them on sales calls.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new national programs as well as training for the SMC (small, medium, custom) building community
    • Communicate and train customers (distributor, dealer, builder, contractor and in home sales associates) on Therma-Tru products and range of value added services.
    • Collaborates with internal stakeholders – Product Management, Marketing, Sales Leadership, Engineering, and Quality – regarding new product and competitive information, as well as communicating field and quality issues.
    • Effectively handle all administrative tasks (CRM, reports, budgets, expenses, etc.) in a timely manner
    • Attend trade shows and support national account sales meetings, as needed.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.                    

     

                New Construction Focus

    • Develop and implement strategic builder development plan for assigned territory.
    • Create and manage targeted customer relationships.
    • Work with key dealer personnel with a focus on Small/Medium and Custom homes builders to grow our share position.
    • Work with Territory Manager to drive/implement regionalized programs to drive brand loyalty.

     

    Replacement & Remodeling Focus

    • Partner with district in developing, implementing, and enhancing our strategic R&R plan.
    • Support Territory Manager with targeted event and association function attendance to drive loyalty and new demand for Therma Tru’s products.
    • Work with assigned distribution in conjunction with the outside sales team/technical sales team to develop R&R capabilities and competencies.
    • Collaborate with distributor and dealer sales forces to train, educate, and motivate the teams to exceed sales targets.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field – preferred
    • 3-5 years direct sales experience in building products industry – preferred
    • Bilingual in English & Spanish – preferred
    • Experience calling on distributors, dealers, builders and/or contractors
    • Experience with multi-step distribution channel
    • Experience with sales forecasting
    • Excellent communication skills – written, one-on-one, and presentations
    • Initiative and self-starter
    • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
    • Ability to embrace Therma-Tru’s tools & techniques used in the sales process (i.e., Challenger, 8020, CRM, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CRM

     

    Work-Life Balance Considerations

    • Ability to live near Atlanta, Georgia or Northern Georgia.
    • Ability to travel overnight approximately 2 nights/week within the geographic district
