    We have a fantastic opportunity for a high performing HR professional to join our Therma Tru Doors business, partnering with leaders at our Butler, In plant as an HR Generalist Business Partner.


    As the HR Generalist, you’ll have the opportunity to provide innovative HR solutions and partner with the site leaders and leadership teams as well as the workforce to support the key function and location HR disciplines including Recruiting & Staffing, Associate Relations, Diversity & Inclusion, Leadership Development, and Talent Management.


    You must demonstrate the ability to challenge the status quo and utilize independent judgment among various levels of leadership. The ability to deploy strategies that drive culture will be key. To be successful in this role, you must understand key business strategies, change management and bring innovative and new ideas that will have the most influence on desired business outcomes.

    • Partner with business leaders to make sound recommendations for improvement or change, execute strategies, manage projects, coach, counsel, and develop managers and associates.
    • Drive Positive Associate Relations (PAR) culture by proactively resolving associate concerns and providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
    • Conduct coaching on various topics such as communications, performance management, associate relations, and team performance.
    • Manage employee orientation and ensure appropriate and complete onboarding process of new associates.
    • Conduct exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.
    • Participate in the design and delivery of training on HR initiatives and programs.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.


    • Ability to build rapport, establish trust and credibility, and provide winning solutions across all levels of associates.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or combination of equivalent experience and education.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience. 
    • Strong written/verbal communication skills
    • Ability to support 3rd shift operation
    • Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated ability to coach and lead with line and senior management and help shape a performance focused culture
      • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others, particularly leadership development and coaching
      • Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers
      • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
      • SPHR/PHR or related HR certifications
