    Therma-Tru is currently looking for a Human Resources Intern to join the high performing HR team at our Corporate Office in Maumee, OH.

    Responsibilities

    As the Human Resources Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing various aspects of the Intern Program – job fairs, orientation, events, trainings, etc.
    • Assist with policy creation, benchmarking and review
    • Grow positive associate relations by assisting in the planning and execution of associate events
    • Maintain electronic & paper personnel files
    • Assist in administering Wellness and Recognition programs
    • Assist Talent Acquisiton Manager with the hiring function – including resume screening, phone interviews, scheduling in-person interviews
    • Complete special projects as assigned – including benefits open enrollment, performance management, compensation, audits, etc. These vary by semester.
    • May perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    A successful Human Resources Intern will have:

    • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field
    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Pro-active, can take action in the absence of specific guidance
    • Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention-to-detail
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • High level of professionalism
