    Therma-Tru Doors is currently seeking a 2nd shift Supervisor at our Howe, Indiana distribution center. The facility is conveniently located off the Indiana turnpike near the Indiana/Michigan border.

    The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will lead and oversee associates’ activities in our Howe Distribution center to ensure individual member goals are achieved in support of the overall team goals.  Our culture has a strong emphasis on safety and lean initiatives and providing a work-life balance for all our associates. 



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise approximately 30-50 associates
    • Lead focus on safety
    • Develop, train and empower associates
    • Maintain and encourage focus on quality and customer service
    • Identify cost reduction opportunities
    • Support lean initiatives.
    • Interact as a liaison between other locations
    • Lead production and fabrication operations within Distribution Center.
    • Manage resources to meet department goals
    • Develop a team environment, mentor growth, and facilitate a fast paced environment.
    • Lead teams in multiple business units within the Distribution Center.


    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Proven leadership ability
    • Hands-on leader with sense of urgency
    • Excellent coaching and teambuilding skills
    • Great problem solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction skills Preferred.
    • Distribution background with experience working with logistics Preferred.
    • Distribution Center systems knowledge Preferred.
    • Success implementing & sustaining lean tools, JIT, TQM, or Six Sigma Preferred.
