    As a Therma-Tru Senior Process Engineer in Butler, IN you will have the opportunity to be a change agent and drive the continuous improvement efforts in the production of our industry leading fiberglass and steel entry door systems. You will lead data-driven safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects using tools including Lean, PDCA, and Six Sigma.  You will actively take part in root cause analysis, process documentation, and implementation of corrective actions to solve problems.  You will work with and lead dynamic teams to prepare and implement capital improvement projects and drive the development of capable and robust products and processes.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and launch robust advanced manufacturing processes and process improvements
    • Develop process documentation including one point lessons, visual aides, and work instructions
    • Develop, lead, and execute data-driven process improvement projects focused on OEE and safety
    • Apply engineering best practices across multiple operations, processes, and production lines
    • Ensure successful evaluation, development, and  launch of new materials, processes, and products



    • 4-year technical degree preferred, or commensurate experience required
    • 5 or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Excellent project management, coaching, interpersonal and team building skills.
    • Skills to research and understand root cause for product and process problems and drive improvement based on analysis
    • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
    • Extensive problem-solving skills
    • Must possess good judgment, planning and analytical skills with the ability to introduce new and different concepts into an existing organization.
    • Ability to lead and work in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
