Overview

Therma-Tru is seeking a HR Coordinator to join the growing HR team at the Butler, Indiana manufacturing facility.

 

Therma-Tru is the leading entry door brand most preferred by building professionals. Founded in 1962, Therma-Tru pioneered the fiberglass entry door industry, and today offers a complete portfolio of entry and patio door system solutions, including decorative glass doorlites, sidelites and transoms, and door components. As the HR Coordinator, you will work with the Butler Human Resources team to support general HR, recruiting, and associate relation engagement activities. You will be encouraged to bring innovative ideas and best practices to the team. We are seeking an individual who is motivated to develop their career and be promoted within the Therma-Tru and Fortune Brands organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in resolving associate concerns/issues proactively and providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage recruiting administration – scheduling, interviewing, job posting, social media
  • Manage the onboarding process and orientation  for new hires
  • Assist with our University Relations by attending career fairs, interviewing, and managing intern activities
  • Update communications through Therma-Tru’s various channels: TruNet and Connect App
  • Process associate changes – including hires, changes, and terminations – in our HRIS accurately and timely
  • Maintain personnel and benefit files according to legal and corporate requirements
  • Administer company recognition awards – including Truly Thankful and service anniversaries
  • Provide administrative support to benefit communication campaigns
  • Assist in organizing company functions and organizing community relation activities
  • Partner with vendor for unemployment benefits and employment verifications
  • May perform other duties as assigned

                                          

A successful HR Coordinator will have:

  • Bachelors Degree in HR or related
  • Minimum 1-3 years of HR-related experience
  • Experience with HRIS and/or ATS preferred
  • Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to keep confidential information

  

Candidates for positions with Therma-Tru must be legally authorized to permanently work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including student visas.
