As a Therma-Tru Process Engineer in the finishing area you will be leading the of design, installation, and troubleshooting of chemical and paint delivery systems while continuing to drive continuous improvement efforts in production. You will lead data-driven safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects using tools including Lean, PDCA, and Six Sigma.  You will actively take part in root cause analysis, process documentation, and implementation of corrective actions to solve problems.  You will work with and lead dynamic teams to prepare and implement capital improvement projects and drive the development of capable and robust products and processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and launch robust advanced manufacturing processes and process improvements
  • Develop process documentation including one point lessons, visual aides, and work instructions
  • Develop, lead, and execute data-driven process improvement projects focused on OEE and safety
  • Apply engineering best practices across multiple operations, processes, and production lines
  • Ensure successful evaluation, development, and  launch of new materials, processes, and products

               

Qualifications:

  • 4 year technical degree, Mechanical or Chemical preferred, or commensurate experience required
  • 5 or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and demonstrated application required
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and work in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
